AI receptionist for nail salons and nail bars

Hands on a client? Your phone still gets answered.

You can't stop mid-fill to grab the phone, so the call rings out and that client books down the street. BookLine AI answers every call 24/7, quotes your prices, books with the tech they asked for, and texts you the details. It tells clients it's an AI, and it can always hand them to the desk.

Works with Square Appointments, Google Calendar, Vagaro, your desk phones

Hi, do you have anything Friday for a gel fill with Kim?
Kim has Friday at 2:15 or 5:30. A gel fill takes about 45 minutes. Which time works?

The cost of a ringing phone

Every call you can't take is a chair that sits empty later.

Missed mid-service

Both hands are busy, the dryer is running, and there's nobody at the desk. The phone wins exactly zero of those fights.

A full set that walked

A full set with art, or a mani-pedi combo, that went to voicemail and then to the salon two doors down.

A fill cycle you never see

Losing one new client doesn't cost you one appointment. It costs you every fill they would have booked all year.

Built for how nail salons actually work

An answering service that knows your menu, your techs and your policies.

Books by service

Full set, fill, gel mani, dip, pedicure, or a combo. The AI books the right service with the right amount of chair time.

Requests a specific tech

"Is Kim available Saturday?" gets a real answer from Kim's schedule, not a promise to call back.

Quotes your price list

Answers the "how much for a full set with chrome?" calls straight from your menu, all day, without pulling anyone off the floor.

Group and bridal parties

Captures party size, date and services, then texts you the request so you can confirm staffing before the day fills up.

Spanish and English

Natural conversation in both languages on the Pro plan, so nobody hangs up because they couldn't get their question across.

Nights, Sundays, holidays

Callers who reach out after close book themselves in for the week ahead instead of leaving a voicemail nobody returns.

Booking, honestly

Where the AI books for real, and where it can't yet.

Square Appointments and Google Calendar get booked during the call, by service and by tech. Vagaro lets us read your live availability but not write to it, so the AI texts the client your booking link or hands the request to your desk. Booksy and Fresha don't open up to outside booking, so there the AI answers, quotes and takes the details, then texts you.

How it works

Live in days, not months.

Tell us about your salon

Your service menu and pricing, your techs and their hours, and your walk-in, deposit and cancellation policies. One short call.

We build your receptionist

We configure the assistant in your voice, connect Square Appointments or Google Calendar, and wire in your desk phones if you have them.

Test together, then go live

We test it with you, tune the wording for your salon, and flip your forwarding. Anything that needs a person rings straight through.

Try it yourself

Call (866) 823-0175 and ask it what a caller would.

The demo line is the same assistant your customers would hear. Try saying:

  • "I'd like to book a gel manicure"
  • "How much is a full set with acrylic?"
  • "Do you have anything Saturday afternoon?"
  • "Can you fit six of us for a bridal party?"

Transparent by design

It says it's an AI. Every call, right after your name.

More than a dozen states require every party to consent before a call is recorded, and more states each year require bots to identify themselves. Our greeting handles both, so a caller can never say they were misled, and the transcripts in your dashboard are ones you can rely on. Anyone who asks for a person gets one.

"Thank you for calling Bella's Salon. This call may be recorded for quality assurance. This is Jessica, an AI assistant. How can I help you today?"
Questions owners ask

Questions nail salon owners ask.

Can clients book with a specific nail tech?

Yes. We load your techs and their schedules during onboarding, so a client who asks for Kim by name gets Kim's actual availability. If their tech is booked, the AI offers the next opening with that tech and an earlier slot with someone else, then books whichever the client picks.

Can it quote prices for gel, acrylic, dip and nail art?

Yes. The AI quotes from your own service menu: full sets, fills, gel manicures, dip powder, pedicures and add-ons. For anything priced by design time, like custom art or extra length, it explains that the tech will confirm the final price at the appointment instead of guessing a number.

Does it handle walk-in and wait-time questions?

It answers walk-in questions the way you tell it to: whether you take walk-ins, which times are usually open, and how long a typical service takes. Because it doesn't see your floor in real time, it offers to book a guaranteed slot instead of promising a specific wait.

Can it book bridal parties and group appointments?

Yes. For groups the AI captures the party size, date, services and contact details, and either books it or flags it for you to confirm. You get a text summary of the request right away, so you can call back with a plan the same day.

Will it integrate with my booking software?

Square Appointments (Plus or Premium) and Google Calendar get booked directly during the call, with double-booking protection. With Vagaro the AI reads your live availability by tech and either texts the client your booking link or sends the request to your desk. Acuity Scheduling (Premium plan) books directly as well. Booksy and Fresha don't allow outside booking, so with those the AI answers, quotes, takes the details and texts them to you.

Does it tell callers it's an AI?

Yes. Right after your salon's name it says the call may be recorded for quality assurance, then introduces itself as an AI assistant. Clients can ask for a person at any time and the call rings through to your desk.

Do I need to change my salon's phone number?

No. We forward your existing salon line, or port it onto our phone system if you want desk phones too. Clients keep calling the number on your door and your Instagram. You can also have the phone ring at the front desk first and roll to the AI only when nobody picks up.
