AI receptionist for wedding, portrait and event photographers

Behind the camera? We'll take the call.

Couples call more than one photographer and book the one who answers. BookLine AI picks up 24/7, checks your date, quotes your collections, books the consultation, and texts you the lead before you've packed the gear. It tells callers it's an AI, and it can ring you first if you want.

Works with Google Calendar, Square Appointments, your existing number

Hi, are you available October 11th for a wedding at the Chicago Athletic Association?
October 11th is open. Wedding collections start at eight hours of coverage with an online gallery. How many hours are you thinking?
Probably ten, and we'd want a second shooter.
Got it. I've booked a consultation Thursday at 6:00 to walk through it, and your confirmation text is on its way.

Inquiries don't wait

The photographer who answers first is usually the one who gets booked.

It's a shortlist, not a call

Your inquiry isn't exclusive. The couple is calling several photographers, and the list closes the moment someone picks up and sounds available.

One missed Saturday call is a whole wedding

A single missed inquiry is the booking, plus the engagement session and the referrals that come with it.

You can't call back until Tuesday

You're shooting all weekend and editing all week. By the time you return the voicemail, they've signed someone else's contract.

Built for how photographers actually work

An answering service for people whose hands are on a camera, not a phone.

Checks your date

"Are you free June 14th?" gets a real answer from your calendar, and your nearest open weekends if that one is gone.

Quotes your collections

Starting prices, coverage hours, second shooter, albums and travel, answered from your own pricing the way you'd say it.

Qualifies the lead

Shoot type, date, venue, hours, budget range, and how they found you, captured before the call ends instead of after three emails.

Books the consultation

Puts the discovery call on your calendar and texts the client a confirmation while the interest is still warm.

Weddings, portraits, newborns, events

Each shoot type gets its own questions and its own pricing answers, because a newborn session isn't a corporate headshot day.

Nights and weekends covered

Couples plan on Sunday evenings, which is exactly when your phone is in a camera bag and the AI is working.

Booking, honestly

Where the AI books for real, and where it can't yet.

Google Calendar and Square Appointments get booked during the call, so a consultation lands on your calendar before the caller hangs up, and the AI checks your shoot dates against the same calendar. Acuity Scheduling (Premium plan) books directly as well. Calendly is in development. Until they ship, the AI answers, qualifies the inquiry, texts the client your booking link, and texts you the lead.

How it works

Live in days, not months.

Tell us about your studio

Your shoot types, collections and starting prices, travel policy, retainer terms, and the questions you always ask a new inquiry. One short call.

We build your receptionist

We configure the assistant in your voice, connect Google Calendar, and set it to text you every lead with the details already written down.

Test together, then go live

We test it with you, tune how it talks about your pricing, and flip your forwarding. Calls you want to take yourself ring straight through.

Try it yourself

Call (866) 823-0175 and ask it what a caller would.

The demo line is the same assistant your customers would hear. Try saying:

  • "Are you available for a wedding in October?"
  • "What do your portrait packages cost?"
  • "Do you do newborn sessions?"
  • "Can I set up a consultation?"

Transparent by design

It says it's an AI. Every call, right after your name.

More than a dozen states require every party to consent before a call is recorded, and more states each year require bots to identify themselves. Our greeting handles both, so a caller can never say they were misled, and the transcripts in your dashboard are ones you can rely on. Anyone who asks for a person gets one.

"Thank you for calling Bella's Salon. This call may be recorded for quality assurance. This is Jessica, an AI assistant. How can I help you today?"
Questions owners ask

Questions photographers ask.

Can it tell callers whether a date is available?

Yes. Connected to your Google Calendar, the AI checks the date a caller asks about and tells them whether it's open or already booked. If the date is gone it offers your nearest available weekends instead of ending the call, which is how a lot of inquiries get saved.

Will it quote my package pricing?

It quotes exactly what you tell it to: starting prices, what each collection includes, coverage hours, second shooter, albums and travel. For custom work it gives your starting point and books a consultation rather than inventing a number, so you never have to walk a price back.

What details does it capture on a wedding inquiry?

Event date, venue and location, ceremony and reception times, hours of coverage wanted, whether they need a second shooter, how they found you, and the best callback number confirmed digit by digit. It lands in a text summary before you finish the shoot you were on.

Can it book consultations and discovery calls?

Yes. The AI books the consultation into your calendar, in person, by phone or over video, and sends a confirmation text with the details. You walk into the call with the shoot type, date and budget range already written down.

Will it integrate with my booking software?

Google Calendar and Square Appointments (Plus or Premium) get booked directly during the call. Acuity Scheduling (Premium plan) books directly as well. Calendly is in development. Until then the AI answers, qualifies the inquiry, texts the client your booking link, and texts you the lead.

Does it tell callers it's an AI?

Yes. Right after your studio's name it says the call may be recorded for quality assurance, then introduces itself as an AI assistant. Anyone who asks for you gets transferred to your cell when you're free, or leaves a message that's texted to you when you're not.

Do I need a separate business phone number?

No. We forward your existing business line to the AI, or give you a new local number if you'd rather keep your cell private. Either way you can have calls ring your phone first and roll to the AI only when you can't pick up. Most photographers are live within 3 to 5 business days.
