These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BookLine AI platform, including the website at booklineai.com, the client portal, the AI phone assistant service, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by BookLine AI ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business entity you represent. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
3. The Service
3.1 What We Provide
BookLine AI provides an AI-powered phone answering service for businesses. Our Service includes:
- An AI voice assistant that answers calls on behalf of your business
- Call handling including appointment scheduling, FAQ responses, and message taking
- A web-based portal for managing your AI assistant, viewing call logs, and configuring business settings
- Call transcripts, summaries, and analytics
- Integration capabilities with third-party scheduling and business tools
3.2 Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Unplanned outages or technical issues
- Factors beyond our reasonable control (internet outages, third-party service disruptions, force majeure events)
3.3 AI Limitations
Important: Our AI assistant is not a substitute for emergency services. It is not designed to handle medical emergencies, threats to life or safety, or other urgent situations requiring human intervention. You should not rely on the AI for critical communications.
While our AI is designed to be accurate and helpful, it may occasionally:
- Misunderstand caller requests or provide incorrect information
- Fail to handle unusual or complex scenarios
- Experience reduced performance in noisy environments or with poor call quality
You are responsible for reviewing call logs and AI interactions to ensure quality. We continuously improve our AI but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy.
4. Subscription Plans and Pricing
4.1 Plans

All prices are in US Dollars and are per location. A one-time setup fee applies to all new accounts. Current setup fees are listed on our pricing page.
4.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via credit or debit card through Stripe.
- Overage charges for minutes exceeding your plan's included allocation are billed at the end of each billing cycle.
- All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.
4.3 Setup Fees
A one-time setup fee is charged when you activate your account. This fee covers initial AI configuration, voice training, phone number provisioning, and onboarding support. Setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding has begun.
4.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 additional times over 10 days. If all attempts fail, your Service may be suspended until payment is resolved. We are not responsible for missed calls during payment-related suspensions.
5. Your Responsibilities
As a user of the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business information (hours, services, pricing, staff) so the AI can serve your callers correctly
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding phone call recording and consent in your jurisdiction
- Not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Not use the Service to make outbound robocalls, telemarketing calls, or any automated calling that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar regulations
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the Service
- Not use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or interfere with other users
- Review AI call handling regularly and notify us of any issues or inaccuracies
6. Call Recording Consent
You acknowledge that calls handled by our AI assistant may be recorded and transcribed. You are solely responsible for:
- Understanding and complying with call recording laws in your state and jurisdiction
- Configuring your AI assistant's greeting to include appropriate recording disclosures if required by law
- Obtaining any necessary consent from callers before calls are recorded
We provide tools to configure recording disclosures in your AI greeting, but compliance with applicable laws is your responsibility. We are not liable for any claims arising from your failure to comply with call recording consent requirements.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Property
The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by BookLine AI and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the business information, knowledge base content, and other data you provide to the Service ("Your Content"). By providing Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service on your behalf.
7.3 Call Data
Call recordings, transcripts, and analytics generated through the Service are owned by you, subject to our right to use anonymized and aggregated data to improve the Service. We will never share your individual call data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Cancellation and Termination
8.1 Cancellation by You
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the portal or by contacting us.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until then.
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused minutes.
- After cancellation, call recordings and data will be retained for 30 days, after which they will be permanently deleted.
8.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your payment is overdue by more than 15 days
- You use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes
- Your use of the Service poses a risk to our systems or other users
In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
- We are not liable for missed calls, incorrect AI responses, or failed bookings that result from AI limitations, technical issues, or inaccurate business information provided by you.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The AI will correctly handle every call or scenario
- The Service will meet all of your requirements
- Any defects in the Service will be corrected
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BookLine AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law, including call recording consent laws
- Any content or information you provide through the Service
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
12.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
12.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must cancel your subscription before they take effect.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BookLine AI regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, internet outages, or pandemic.
