Vendor allows it. We are building it.

Can an AI receptionist book into Mindbody?

Mindbody allows it, with conditions the studio has to accept. The vendor charges an API access fee per location, every studio has to issue an activation code, and there is a daily call cap. We build it with the first studio that needs it.

What the vendor's API allowsOpen write API

Mindbody's Public API supports classes, appointments, staff, clients and booking. Mindbody bills the API at about $11 a month per location plus a small per-call charge after a free allowance, requires an activation code from each studio, and caps calls at 1,000 a day.

What BookLine does on a call todayIn development

Today the AI answers, handles class and membership questions from your onboarding, texts the caller your Mindbody booking link during the call, and sends your front desk anything that needs a person.

What that means for youLink texted today

If you run a Mindbody studio, tell us. We finish the connection against your site, you approve the API fee with Mindbody, and the AI books appointments and class spots on the call.

How a call goes

Today: answered, quoted, and the booking link in their hand.

Until the integration ships, the AI answers every call, answers questions from your onboarding, texts the caller your booking link while they are on the phone, and sends your team anything that needs a person.

Every assistant opens with your business name, the recording notice, and an introduction as an AI assistant. Anyone who asks for a person gets one.

Happy to help. I can text you our booking link right now, or take your details and have Coach Mike confirm a time. Which do you prefer?

Sent. You'll see it in a second, and if anything gives you trouble just call back and I'll take it from here.

What you need on your side

Before we connect Mindbody.

The vendor sets most of these conditions, not us. Knowing them up front is the difference between a two-day setup and a surprise.

  • A Mindbody site with the API access fee approved (about $11 a month per location, billed by Mindbody)
  • An activation code issued from your Mindbody site for BookLine
  • Staff and appointment or class types set up with durations
  • Your public Mindbody booking link, so the AI can text it in the meantime
Where this sits

Where the AI books for real, and where it can't yet.

Some booking systems let outside software write appointments. Some do not, and no vendor can change that. We keep the vendor's side and our side separate, and we update the list as we prove each system.

Questions owners ask

Questions owners ask about Mindbody.

Can the AI book into Mindbody today?

Not yet as a direct write. Mindbody requires each studio to approve API fees and issue an activation code, so we build and test it against the first customer's site rather than a sandbox. Today the AI answers, quotes from your onboarding, texts the caller your Mindbody booking link during the call, and sends your team anything that needs a person.

What will change when the integration ships?

The AI will read live availability from Mindbody, offer real times, and create the appointment on the call. Nothing changes on your phones or your number; we switch the tool on for your account.

What do I need to have ready?

A Mindbody site with API access approved, an activation code for BookLine, and your class and appointment types set up. Mindbody bills the API fee to your account.

Does the AI tell callers it's an AI?

Yes. Right after your business name it says the call may be recorded for quality assurance, then introduces itself as an AI assistant. Callers can ask for a person at any time.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. We forward your existing number, or port it onto our phone system if you want us to run the whole thing. Your customers never notice.

Not sure what you are running?

Tell us what you book on and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do with it, before you pay for anything.
